In a strong partnership 3d investors is developing Care Cosmetics into a pan-European market leader in its niche.
Care Cosmetics represents about 30 internationally renowned brands such as Pupa Milano, RoC, Guinot as well as their own brand Pascaud. Care has a client base of over 2.500 loyal beauticians, as well as several large retail clients.
Following years of strong growth in the business, attracting a business partner to accelerate the development of the company was a logical next step for founder Duco van Keimpema.
The focus of this development will be on further expanding both the brand portfolio and geographical presence. Care’s ambition is therefore to grow into a pan-European player in its niche, starting with a strengthened presence in Belgium and Germany. To this end, Care will actively look for buy & build opportunities in an otherwise highly fragmented sector.
3d investors first came in contact with Duco van Keimpema during the spring of 2020. The good fit between both parties was quickly confirmed. In addition, the dynamic beauty market, strong financial and commercial performance of Care and multidimensional growth opportunities turned out to be strong fundamentals for our partnership. After a one-on-one transaction process, our collaboration kicked off after the summer, with the prospect of great results in the coming years.
For Jan Dijkmans, Partner at Marktlink Netherlands, this transaction is a confirmation of the values and approach that distinguish 3d investors: “We got to know you as a very professional and hands-on team. What struck us above all was your eye for the relationship and the human aspect in such a transaction. We can only underline that you are a reliable private equity party and are looking forward to meet again in the future!”
